***CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER***
Poetry at the Dredge
April 27th, 2013 at 2pm

**********************************************************
We are sorry to announce that the dredge event has been cancelled. Due to the fickle weather this spring, as well as the travel advisories related to road conditions, FAA thinks it in everyone’s best interests to wait for better circumstances next year. Again, sorry about the late cancellation. We hope it hasn’t caused any inconvenience.

Welcome in the warm spring with the ultimate Alaskan poetry reading! Join us as we have fun enjoying poetry in true Alaskan style. Bring poetry (your own or someone’s you admire) and settle into the tailing piles around the Chatanika Gold Dredge. Bring a sack lunch, water, a blanket, a cushion or rug for comfortable seating and warm clothes. It will be a delightful afternoon!

Chatanika Gold Dredge is located 20 miles N.E. of Downtown Fairbanks on the Steese Highway.

Special thanks to Jane Haigh and Patricia Peirsol at Chatanika Dredge Company for the use of this wonderful venue.
