Gail’s connection to Fairbanks Arts is strong and dates back to her first steps as a visual artist, creating paintings, silk screen prints and relief prints. Her first piece of art was selected for a juried show in our Bear Gallery and she even sold her first painting there. As a result, Gail says, she was drawn to becoming a Fairbanks Arts insider to give back and to do what she can to make sure our community continues to benefit from our programs and opportunities.

Gary is the performing artist on our Board. As an avid guitarist, he adds a performing arts perspective to Fairbanks Arts’ programming and events. If Gary could invent a holiday, it would involve donuts, coffee and warm, sandy beaches. Sounds pretty great to us.

Brianna is a fine artist with six years of experience in marketing and public relations. She joined the Fairbanks Arts Board of Directors for an opportunity to give back to our community which has given her support. Give her a few cups of coffee and Brianna is ready to help us grow as an organization (and really also without the coffee, but it just makes everything better), “I love starting with a seed of an idea and mocking it up in a variety of ways, sometimes more than 10 concepts or directions, to discover the strongest representation of the idea. The whole brainstorming process is easily my favorite part of being creative, not having any limitations on ideas.
